  • The customary gratuity to the Tour Direrctor is not included. Gratuities for your Adventures Guides are not included. If you feel that your Adventure Guides have provided excellent service, we suggest the following discretionary gratuity: Per Guest/Per Adventure guide/Per Day - $9 - $11 USD.

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast and then meet your guide in the hotel lobby for an introduction to Beijing history and a description of the morning's activity.

Be driven by motor coach to the Temple of Heaven, accompanied by your local guide. Built in 1420, this huge structure is where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped the god of heaven and offered sacrifices to heaven to ensure a good harvest. It is now a cultural museum that chronicles the history of China through its architecture, art, music and more.

Enjoy delicious Beijing duck and other traditional Chinese specialties at the Huajia Yiyuan Restaurant with its classic atmosphere and beautiful décor.

Take a guided walk across Tiananmen Square, named after the Tiananmen Gate on its north side, which translates to "Gate of Heavenly Peace." Learn about the history of this historic gathering place for celebrations and protests. Your local guide will point out the Monument to People's Heroes, Tiananmen Tower, Great Hall of the People, Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao and the National Museum of China.

Enter the Forbidden City on the south side through the Gate of Supreme Harmony. On this guided tour, learn details about the incredible Imperial Palace that's housed here and which was the seat of power from 1416 to 1911. Covering 178 acres and including 90 palaces with courtyards and over 10,000 rooms containing remarkable furnishings and art, the Forbidden City is a historical testimony to Chinese civilization during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Stroll through grand halls, courts and banquet rooms and visit pavilions and palaces with fascinating exhibitions. Be awestruck by the extraordinary glazed tile Nine-Dragon Screen and the spectacular Imperial Garden! Please note: Although Forbidden City has level paths made of asphalt or flat paving stones, there are some steps that need to be negotiated.

Dotted with watchtowers, the Great Wall offers an incredible view of the woods below. Please note: On the Great Wall of China, there are numerous steps to climb, some of which are steep by Western standards. Sidewalks are mostly asphalt or paving stones with broken and uneven surfaces in some ares requiring a fair degree of vigilance.

Explore one of the most spectacular wonders in China! A UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses were first discovered in 1974 in an archaeological dig where over 7,000 clay sculptures of warriors, horses and chariots were found buried alongside China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang Di—the protection he was going to take with him into the afterlife! The museum features these life-size terracotta figures in battle formations, representing the imperial guard of that era. Digging at this archaeological site is ongoing in the expectation of unearthing more monumental discoveries like these.

All rates listed are per person based on double occupancy and are subject to change without notice. Your land package pricing will be confirmed and guaranteed once your deposit is received and applied to the booking, except where price increases may result from increases in government taxes or fees. Room configurations are subject to availability. Guests added to your party after the booking are priced at the prevailing rate at the time they are added.

  • ALL guests must carefully verify the existing identification requirements for their particular travel situation DIRECTLY WITH THEIR LOCAL CONSULATES OR EMBASSIES or with a visa service, as these requirements may change. Guests without proper documentation may be denied entry and will not be entitled to a refund
  • 120 days or more before departure: The per person deposit is forfeited.
  • 119-90 days before departure: 50% of vacation package price per Guest
  • 89-46 days before departure: 75% of vacation package price per Guest
  • 45 days or less: 100% of vacation package price per Guest
  • Any changes or cancellations to airline reservations made through Adventures by Disney either before or after departure are non-refundable.
  • Cancellation fees may also apply to any additional services, including extra night accommodations, independently supplied services, and optional excursions reserved prior to, during, and after the tour. If flight changes, including, but not limited to, flight cancellations or name changes, are requested after full land and air deposits are received, revision fees, change fees, or airline cancellation fees will apply.
  • All cancellations must be received in writing prior to tour departure. The cancellation policy will apply according to the date that the cancellation notification is received. The MINIMUM cancellation penalty is the deposit amount.
  • The purchase to trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
  • Land only “from price” is per person based on two people sharing a room together and does not include airfare unless expressly stated.
  • All prices are in US Dollars.
  • A deposit is required to confirm a reservation, unless the reservation is made on or after the final payment date (as defined below) for the vacation package, in which case full payment is required. The deposit amount will be equal to ten percent (10%) of the vacation package price per Guest (the “Deposit”), not including any optional add-ons. Payment of the deposit indicates you have read and accepted all Terms & Conditions. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit payment is processed and you receive a confirmation invoice.
  • Final payment is due 120 days prior to departure. Within the final payment date, payment in full is required at time of booking to reserve space. Reservations are canceled if final payment is not received by the due date.
